During the game players will have to perform the move by doing one of the actions like spinning a snowflake as fast as they can, or tapping along a snaking trail of shapes. There are also three special moves – step, spin and jump – with their own unique control. Yes, it's the overused rhythm game standard that Elite Beat Agents started.

Skating in Princess on Ice consists of tapping on ice crystals in time with the music. Players can go through each of the girl's stories, which is pretty much the same story, just from four different angles. By competing in multiple skating competitions they prove their skills. They're four young girls that have the dream of becoming the next Princess on Ice, an award so prestigious it hasn't been bestowed for an entire generation. Meet Kelly, Alyssa, Gabrielle and Madison.
